2019 was a pivotal year in my riding, my growing love for the sport, and what would now become MTB NorCal. I had met Shon and we decided to go for a ride. I told Shon I would help him with content if needed, and then the ideas began to flow. What started as let’s post some vids and “whatever” quickly turned into helping our local trails. As opportunities have presented themselves, we have been able to help the community beyond what we ever thought. Having built this with someone as thoughtful and caring as Shon has been amazing. He constantly motivates me in riding and has helped developed a vision to help our MTB Family.

Over the last couple years I have really started riding more and my passion for MTB has surpassed wanting to get out on my dirt bike. Don’t get me wrong I still love Moto and always will, but MTB has my stoke level on high! Moto is rad but the camaraderie I have seen in the MTB community has me so pumped to be a part of it! One of the things I love about MTB is being able to carry on conversation an BS with your friends up and down the trail. It just adds so much to the ride itself.

In 2019 I made a career change that allowed me to focus more on family, me, and MTB. To share mountain biking, contribute and give back to the community.  Working together with BONC, we were able to pull off a MTB Festival, open a bike park, continue trail advocacy and maintenance.  That’s when I met Shon and Don! What MTB NorCal represents is very important to me.  I am absolutely proud to be a part of MTB NorCal and can’t wait for all the awesome, shred’tastic, good times ahead.  I will see all of you on the trail!!!
